The information on this objective shows my ability to evaluate students' technology proficiency and students' technology-based products within curricular areas.
I did both formal and informal assessments for the lessons that I taught for this course. The lessons that I taught on the digestive system required students to complete a worksheet that asked questions based on what they were taught about it. The worksheet listed the parts of the digestive system in one column and the functions in another. The students had to match the digestive system parts with its correct function. I also did an informal assessment on the students when I taught the lesson on the digestive system, in which I randomly called on students to answer questions that pertained to the digestive system. The informal assessment that I did for the lesson on the coordinate plane was conducted by me individually, in which I asked students to plot points on the coordinate planes they created in Excel. I watched students as they plotted points and checked to make sure they were plotted correctly. The formal assessment for the coordinate plane was a worksheet that had a coordinate plane with ten different points for the students to plot. The worksheet was checked for correct answers, and I went over incorrect answers with students.
